... criminal tendency. This was where the famous Ned Kelly was kept and hanged. We then took a world wind tour of the city. The older structures and buildings reminded me of New Orleans as they has wrought iron around the front of the balconies (what the locals call iron lace) very much like the French Quarter. The bus let us out at St. Patrick's Cathedral. It was built in the 1880's and was beautiful, but did not have the grandeur that we had seen in Wells or Canterbury. ...

We arrived in Melbourne just after midnight and cruised through immigration and customs without any dramas - although there were notices up saying that Channel 7 were filming Border Security, so we were convinced we'd end up with our bags unpacked on national television.....

Cab home and straight to bed for a well earned sleep.

Goodbye Vienna, we have had an amazing holiday. Down to the hotel lobby with intentions of meeting our car and heading to the airport. Our transfer car didn't arrive at the designated time and when I went to reception to ask them to follow up, which they did, it was quickly realised that the car was booked for the following day - NO..... it is today!! Don't stress, a car was dispatched, quickly arrived and the driver drove like a manic to ensure that ...

... of what ever the Big Apple has to offer. Before then, we get to endure about 20 hrs cooped up with a few hundred fellow traveller's in a big white tube. We can only hope that we don't have the unfortunate luck of sitting next to a crying child, a vomiter or, worst of all, a sniffer. Our fate is in the hands of the plane gods...
