There were groups of old men singing (well, it sounded like more of a tuneful shouting session) in competition with other groups of old men; young folk flirting with each other and smiling a lot and bands playing traditional instruments on a stage near the Riva, which is the promenade.
... know, there are the one’s with the cute kitschy sayings, or the purposely ironic, or the athletic ones, or the school or state pride ones. But here in Croatia - there are mostly the WTF ones.
I think there might be a tshirt factory somewhere, just full of all sorts of English phrases, athletic teams and so forth - and someone just slaps them all together.

The next bar was called Revilin and is reputedly the best club in Croatia with a massive dance floor surrounded by suspended dance platforms, human size champagne glasses and more stripper poles.
A couple of very overpriced drinks and a few drinks later though it was time to head home to rest a couple of very wary heads.
