... river till we arrived in a very pretty little town called Poticeli for lunch. Once again the scenery was brilliant and I took many photos trying to capture the beauty. Martina had booked a few tables at a little restaurant for us as the village often gets very busy and it's hard to find a spot. She had recommended a local dish to us called cevapi - which is like little skinned sausages so many of us decided to try that and it was ...

... will get to this part of the Adriatic - Croatia never seems to feature in the world weather report on the BBC! I have found the boat and left my luggage to be taken to my room. Because I am so early I have decided to walk down to the other boats on the wharf - especially the huge cruise liner that is docked. There is a market in the small square. I asked the port authority who told me it had just docked so we headed out across the boats and found the Navigator. Hvar Island is meant to be the one of the best place to party on the sail so we loaded up on drinks and played many games on the boat. We headed out to a few bars beforehand and finished at pink champagne club. The club didn't open until 1am so it had the biggest ...

... heat wasn't too unbearable at 11am. Hundreds of terracotta roofs packed the center of the walls and made for a pretty sight. After two bottles of water each, we made our way back down into the town itself and wandered through the many narrow streets to find Buza Bar which we saw from the walk, an hour before. The 'cold drinks' sign that pointed to an arch in the wall was all that signified the bar from the street. Walking down narrow steps now ...

... the signs to the best views and beer in town. You had to creep through a small gap in the wall and then you found a tiny bar on the side of the cliff. The views were spectacular, unlike their potter potties! In day two we took it easy. We walked around the beaches or sorry I should say "beaches" (concrete and pebbles) and then I settled down to a well deserved two course meal then nap. All good holidays consist of a few naps and I am just practising for Spain where everyone has ...
