    Leaving Krakow

A travel blog entry by jeffdavis152 on Dec 09, 2013

I've said it already, but the hostel that I stayed at in Krakow is by far the best hostel experience I’ve ever had. I was able to make enough friends in a couple days to feel welcome and at home. For someone traveling alone, it’s a great moral boost to know that you can come back to a welcoming and social environment.

    Because …

Into the sad history of Poland....

Today was another drive day, but it was an enjoyable one. At alot of hte stops we played some rugby which was fun. I broke down and had McDonalds at one stop only because it was my only option and I was starving, but it was good. I painted one of the guys toe nails on the bus the other day when he was asleep so he got me back on this trip, and he said that when he was doing it I woke up to take a picture and didnt even notice him. We have good fun ...

    That's a lot of salt!

... checked out the markets there. The centre of the city was under heavy construction so it wasn't too pretty. We had a late lunch (4.30) and I finished off my souvenir shopping. I got back to the campsite, had a shower and then talked to Brad about what movie he wanted to see. Others were gonna come and then backed out so we went and saw Scary Movie 4... funny, but so like the first 3 that it wasn't anything new... but then I wasn't expecting the reinvention of the wheel.
