Guest House was very reasonably priced, great at organising tours and very clean. Quiet if you were a lone traveler though. I would recommend this place to travelers, no problem.

Green Tulip House is the best place I've stayed so far on my world trip. Clean, spacious, pretty and comfortable, the hostel is more like a hotel, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. For Nine and Stella, nothing is too much trouble and it's clear they really want to help their guests have the best time whilst in Chiang Mai. The amazing low price is the icing on the cake. Thanks Green Tulip!

    Day 51 - 27th May

We arrived at 7am and tried to get a taxi to our hostel but no one would budge on price of 150 baht. Eventually a red taxi which is like a jeepney, took us for 120 baht. We couldn't check in to Green Tulip until 2pm so we had breakfast and by 8:30am our room was ready and we could go our dorm. There are 7 beds in this …

It was an early start as we had the train at 8.30 and our hotel was nowhere near the train station. We got there for 8 and the whole station stood still and was silenced for the national anthem that played out over the speakers. Of course the train was late but we have started to get used to that now and jus chilled reading our books. We wanted to …

Our first day in Chang Mai was a great success, a full day of exploring the city and experiencing an authentic Thai cooking class. We landed in Chang Mai, Thailand this morning and experienced a cool after rain morning here. It is nice to escape the bustle of Bangkok and Chiang Mai is a chill and cultural/artsy/university town of Thailand. Tourists …

The train from Bangkok did not afford us as much sleep as we had hoped due to the main lights being left on all night and the curtains being pretty thin. Note for the future - take an eye mask. I woke up every hour from about 0200 so was pretty tired when we pulled in to Chiang Mai. Other than this the journey was non eventful and actually fairly …
