... a local environ we happened across a bookstore and the highlight of all my purchases to date was two little picture books in Spanish...about Tio and the Sardana! I will learn to read these and work out what the words are actually saying. I was so excited to find them as well as to buy..it must be the Catalan in me. ... Tour later in the day. It’s crazy how large the entire structure will be when it is completed. The audio tour for Sagrada Familia probably lacked a few things, but it wasn’t at all helped by the fact that a number of parts were covered by scaffolding and the like. It was also not helped by the weather. In the end I did the whole thing backwards simply because I didn't want to go out in the rain.

After visiting the famous L'Aquarium I decided to go and visit the Barcelona FC museum, which was about a 20 minute drive from the aquarium. On my one full day in Barcelona I bought a ticket for the hop on/off bus and travelled around the city taking in the sights and beautiful architecture.
