MLK Weekend Family Reunion in Streamboat, Colorado
January 13, 2006: After catching up on some sleep and unpacking our bags following our three-week trip to Egypt and Jordan, we had just enough time to wash our clothes and adjust to Eastern Standard Time before heading out for our next trip-a family gathering in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Michael's family has been planning this trip since last …
Going to the Mountain Top at Streamboat
January 14, 2006: We know quite well that a good breakfast goes a long way on an action-packed day, so we headed down to the hotel's restaurant to enjoy their breakfast buffet-fresh fruit, omelets made to order, freshly baked breads, bacon, sausage, hot coffee and cold orange juice; just what we needed before hitting the slopes. I convinced Anita …
San Francisco
Well the trip has finally started!
Left Manchester Wednesday morning and 10hrs later we were stateside. Checked into the hostel and pretty relieved at what we found..much better than it looks on the photo! Small and friendly with a comfortable (bunk)bed. Luckily the bottom bed was a double! As we checked in we we're invited to Thanksgiving …
Yosemite to San Francisco

San Fransisco
Got given a free bus pass each for the day from a couple in our hostel. Went to Fishermans wharf see the sea lions at Pier 39 & looked at Alcatraz prison, then went to the golden gate bridge to eat a lovely $ saving picnic from Safeway.
Then rode the trams about town for rest of day looking at the sights and all the mad steep hills it's famous for. Oh and went to Alamo square.
