Missed connecting flight=misplaced luggage

A travel blog entry by claire.tsui

This is beginning of our three week European backpacking trip. It begins in the city of Edinburgh Scotland for two days. Other than missing our transfer flight in Heathrow because of security, losing our luggage for the two days we were there, and learning how to drive in a new country, this part of the trip was good. The Globetrotter Inn hostel …

Scotland - brilliant, and fook the English!

A travel blog entry by pilgrimdiaries

We arrived into the UK via Stansted airport at 5 in the morning and promptly boarded a bus to Edinburgh. Finally after almost four weeks straight of sweating profusely we were able to put on a jumper and hide under a blanket in bed. We both felt like our adventure had been rejuvenated in the UK. Civilization! Finally we had normal toilets at our …

A travel blog entry by misssara

Sara Muller is... trying to stay cool and not look like a kid in a lolly shop. Edinburgh is amazing!

We had a drive of a bit over an hour, including a detour over the River Forth, to get to Stirling, where we had about 4 hours of time with which to do as we pleased. I did a tour of Stirling Castle, which has been of huge strategic …

A (wee) way from the city, although they do supply a free bus hourly to and from. Breakfast is o.k,and there is a bar, and a nice view of the sea.It can't have been too bad,as we stayed here for 4 months(in fact some stayed years, and met wive's there)
