Ferries and bikes
After our unpleasant introduction to Vancouver Chelsie and I moved to the Global Village hostel which was a breath of fresh air. It was a great place with super friendly staff and most importantly no odour. I convinced Chellsie to tolerate a dorm room since we were in a less dodgy part of town, so we met two girls, Stacey, a fellow Australian, and …
Vancouver minus the rain...
We headed back to Vancouver after a couple of days in Victoria, and it was much more welcoming than previously. This hostel is nor bad, nor good. The dorms are ok, the beds are ok, the price is relatively cheap and there are ISIC and HI discounts. There is also a bar, laundry service and pancakes for breakfast included. The location is very good and the staff friendly. All in all, a good pick.
