So we had this booked from the day we got here. Statue was the first stop, we caught a cab from home because Kim can't walk. Got out about zero degrees and windy as, freezing. We jumped on the boat and went across. Lots of pictures and we got to go up onto the pedestal. From the highest point we could get to, continued a spiral staircase to the crown. We took the whole 3 hrs and then left, we didn't get off at Ellis Island it was getting close to the time we needed ...

Our trip started off with a bang - our 11:45 PM flight was delayed an hour. So we spent some extra time hanging out at our gate. Thankfully our friends Devon & Veronica were already there, so we got to catch up on the latest happenings in each others' lives.
