Summary of East Coast Australia
So here it is, after nearly 8 weeks in Oz, a summary of what I've been doing, I'll try to keep it to the interesting bits and the highlights, enjoy! Cairns
Eventually some sun!!!! Even if it was very short lived.Still we made the most of it, and although Cairns has a pretty rubbish beach it does have a man made lagoon which is really cool so we spent the day lazing there and getting a tan. It was nice to wash the dirt of Uluru off!

Sunday started off a pretty average day with a visit to a Crocodile Farm. On arrival at the farm the owner got on our bus to talk a bit about the farm. I was in the front seat and as soon as he got on he put a baby croc in my lap!! Good job I don't freak out at those kind of things eh?! We watched them feed the crocs and the bloke doing our tour …

As long as you like a party Gilligans is a good place to stay. Big rooms with balconies and decent showers and beds and a good atmosphere too. Rooms were clean. Theres a decent sized pool as well and the bar & club attached is always pretty busy and good for a night out :)

Arrived into Cairns and got the free transfer bus from terminal 6 to the hostel. We arrived at 8am and check in wasn't until 12 but they had no problem with storing our luggage and we chilled by the pool. The room we stayed in was a 8 bed dorm with a toliet and a shower in different rooms, The room was cleaned daily and the people we met were lovely :) There was a free meal provided every night and the drink was cheap. It has a very lively nightlife as there is a club and bar below with entertainment on every night. The best thing was the price, we paid $18 dollars a night!

Its dead clean, modern and facilities are never ending!
Get free entry into the nightclubs because we are staying here, free meals and 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour!

Stayed here 4 nights and got no more than 5 hours sleep any night. Nice hostel, but had people hving sex in my room all 4 nights. That was frustrating

So much fun!! If you want a party, this is the place to be!! The a/c in the dorms was amazing. Free backpacker meals were also great! We loved it.
