Generator (No Facilities) London

I met a boy from Melbourne at the hostel and I told him I had been hoping to take night photos of London, so we went walking all over the city for a couple hours at like 1 am. I got some great photos!

I still had a couple days on my railpass for Scotland and England so I decided to use it to go visit Dover for a day from London. I just heard of Dover from word of mouth, I heard about the white cliffs and wanted to go see. I don't know how I even knew it had a castle...word of mouth too I guess. Out of all the lame, uber-touristy things I've done, I'm pretty sure this one takes the cake. Not only did I go to this place but I posed with most of the wax figures as well. It was so much fun though!!!!!

I went to Trafalgar Square with a girl I met at the hostel and I also went solo to the British Museum. It's interesting how you can turn expensive cities into cheap experiences, because both were free and I walked everywhere so I didn't pay for the tube, and my hostel is around $35 US dollars. I spent less than $50 for everything this day.

I actually arrived at 6am (an amazing 20 minutes AHEAD of schedule!) I think it was the first (and probably only) time I've ever had a flight arrive early! I'm in London! In keeping with my flight luck so far, my flight was delayed (as all my flights so far have been cancelled or delayed!) due to the crash that happened at Heathrow on Thursday last week (which I knew nothing about having not seen an English newspaper for several weeks!) Back in london today, after a 15 hour bus ride, 1 /2 hour ferry ride, another 2 1/2 hour bus ride, 20 minute tube (london train system) rideI am home!
