So glad I went to the reef when I did - the rain was really coming down yesterday. Very overcast and not a great day to be out on the water. Of course my mind goes to the murky waters and low visibility that the snorkelers must be experiencing. Screams shark central to me. Hope they are listening for the whistle and watching for forehead signals!
My last day in Cairns ...
... amongst the Daintree rainforest. Arriving at Cape Tribulation where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef the view was spectacular. Turquoise blue waters with rainforest emerging from the water and the noises of animals in the background.
