BA part1
Welcome to my first attempt at memory repatriation; searching the void for lost strands of data and encouraging them back to their officially designated place of residence within my brain.
Due to what may seem a paradoxical combination of laziness and busyness I have been forced to wait a memory-sapping two and a half weeks before writing …
They lost my luggage between Prague and Madrid
On my way from Prague to Madrid, where I was scheduled to leave for BA at 11 pm, my luggage was lost. Whether by struggling, may-be-grounded Air Italia, or by unusually efficient Czech airlines, I have no idea. What I do know is that I have no clothes - no change of socks or underwear, no shorts - no backpack, no portable hard drive, no large …
Back in the hood!
Hola!
So, we´re back in Buenos Aires, after having a fantastic time up at Iguazu. We LOVED the falls, they were absolutely amazing. I had no idea they were so massive! We spent the morning wandering around, getting soaked by all the spray as we stood as close as possible to the thundering water. They had recently had a lot of heavy rain, …
Steaks and Drums in BA
We woke up to the 6am alarm feeling worse for wear after way too much cheap red wine last night. We had to pack up and check out of our room before we left for the airport, so that was fun as well, but a cold shower later we set off to find the elusive public bus to Ezeiza international airport 40km out of town. Despite being told by the hostel …
Tango, mate y cortenos

The staff here are soooo friendly and helpfull it really makes the stay great. The Art factory is also a really cool building with graffiti style paintings and murals all over the place. Every night in the bar there's something going on from live acoustic music to movie nights. The food and drink in the bar is a little pricey but there is a kitchen for preparing your own food. The dorms are only for 4 or 6 people so this is convenient and the beds are very comfortable. Dorm 1 is very close to the bar and is noisy but the other 20 or so rooms are quite quiet. The location is also great as it's a 10 min walk to San Telmo market and 10 mins from the microcentre.
