... I walked up the street maybe 200m and was at the castle that looks over the city. It gave me a really nice panoramic view of the city. The only better view of the city might be from the American embassy which you can see on the hillside. The castle is massive! It even has 2 churches (that I could see) within its walls. After walking to the other side and seeing a changing of the guard, I walked down the hill and across the bridge to the old town. I ran into an older Canadian ...

... She was able to enjoy a proper refectory (dinning hall) meal. The next day Natalie, Andrea, and I walked to Abbey Road Studios which is also very close to Regent's Park. It's one of the most glamorous parts of the city now with stores like Prada, Gucci, and Cartier, but it had obviously a very dark past with centuries of persecution of the Jewish people from the dark ages to the holocaust. Read the descriptions on some of these pictures for the stories.

We wrapped up the ...

... rough, but we were only a 10 minute walk away from the Charles Bridge and the Old Town.

The next day we met up with Bill and Amy and walked all over the city. We crossed the Charles Bridge and visited Prague Castle, then walked back to the old town to watch the Astronomical Clock. This incredible structures as built in 1410 and there is a legend about why it was broken. The story said that the clock was admired by many ...
