... than Romantic it can be complicated at times. Though our teacher Zuzana is incredible. She has to be about sixty to seventy years old, she dyes her hair a bright red, and she loves to laugh. Apparently both of her parents were Jewish and her Dad survived Auschwitz while her mom was forced to make plane parts for Nazis Germany. She loves Vaclav Havel, we saw a documentary on him and I think he is incredibly under-appreciated.

... also fascinated to learn that our guide regularly spent time with several survivors of Dachau and she was able to recount their experiences including the small triumphs that helped feed their spirit to survive. One story involved a prisoner working on getting the honey from the honeycomb for the soldiers and their families living nearby. On several occasions he peed in the honey before sending it off to be consumed.
