... district. After talking with Maureen and the boys this morning, a 20 minute train ride took me from the airport to the Circular Quay at the center of the waterfront. This sits right between the Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge. A friend at work noted that she has two brothers who live in Sydney and had given me their contact information. I texted both and we made plans to meet along the waterfront. It was very kind of them to make time ...
... etc proves that, contrary to his assertions, he is NOT scared of heights. We even had fun waving at the people in another lift going down the tower! We could see the boys in the Mall, and joined them before walking back to a outdoor bar next to our apartment - the meals were good, and even better when told that all meals are $11 on Tuesdays! A walk down to the harbour to see the lights, then home to bed...a good ...
... Later I notice that it is more quiet everywhere.
The flight to Sydney arrives almost an half hour earlier than planned. This has nothing to do with the quiet Christmas traffic but due to the tail wind☺.
At the airport in Sydney it is also quiet. I only had to wait some time for my luggage.

We then continued on past Circular Quays and towards the Opera House to get a close up view. From there we walked along the Royal Botanic Gardens to Macquaries Point for another view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
