    Ganz liebe Grüße aus Sydney! Ich bin jetz seit Donnerstag hier, da sind wir aber erst Nachts um halb 12 angekommen, also is das heute jetz erst mein zweiter richtiger Tag erst in Australien :)

    ... much higher than I at least anticipated. Even though I kept chirping to my volunteer to stop pushing me so darn high, and even though I (alone among the four of us) got soaked not just once but three times by a poorly timed swing, it was still a fantastic experience and worth the half-hour wait. Alyssa and I both remarked that we couldn't have wiped the big goofy grins off our faces while we were swinging if we'd tried.

    ... were on leaping around. Plenty of space it is 14 feet diameter. After cooling off in the pool, we took off for Manly via the half hour ferry ride. Plan was for an early dinner then return to Sydney in the dark to see Sydney by night. Manley was heaving, but we managed to find a restaurant on the wharf front and shared bbq tapas!     ... for the off. A plane made a 70 in the sky. We were not sure what heralded the beginning of the race but gathered that they were off as they all suddenly sped away. Apparently there was a canon shot but we didn't hear it as the wind had gradually built to quite a gust by the start.
