Bromance in Paris
Paris in the spring: arguably the most romantic place on earth. Flowers are in full bloom, the sun is shining brilliantly, the birds are chirping gleefully, and the sky – a crystal blue - is glorious in its splendor. This was the city that I had the pleasure of visiting last weekend… with two other guys. Oh well. To save you from …
Paris
Hello! When we got to Paris we went to the Eiffel Tower, only to find that the world volleyball championships were on. We climbed up the tower (so many steps!) to check out the view and then went and watched a match between Germany and Brazil. Germany won (of course) but it was really close, so it was really exciting to watch. We then went on to …
Lourve
The Lourve is huge. Not only does it have a huge foot print, but it has 4 floors. I walked through the entire (as much as I could figure out how to get to) museum in about 5 hours. I met up with some Aussies and a Canadian to head out to the Catacombes once again. Paris gets back at you for the free stuff on Sunday by closing them all on …

Worst hostel stay experience. Single tiny shared washroom, significant water damage on wall covered over by plastic sheet. Strong smell of mold in room. Very rude staff. Located within blocks of a red light district.
