122 Boulevard de la Chapelle, 18th Arr. Paris, Île-de-France, France, 75018
Hello! When we got to Paris we went to the Eiffel Tower, only to find that the world volleyball championships were on. We climbed up the tower (so many steps!) to check out the view and then went and watched a match between Germany and Brazil. Germany won (of course) but it was really close, so it was really exciting to watch. We then went on to all of the other attractions of Paris... Take a look at the photos! Last night we got on the longest train journey ever (12hrs) frm Paris to Barcelon...
Paris, Île-de-France, France davidjudgeContinued from where London left off. 2/14 9:55 am Oops, I guess I didn't write at lunch. Yesterday was a very long day. The first thing I heard when I walked out of the station was "excuse me sir, do you speak English?" Unfortunately I looked, but didn't say anything. So she said "Tu parles francais?" I shrugged and luckily the gypsy left me alone. So I had to go to the bank to get some euros and for some reason my PIN wouldn't work at the ATM machine. ****. So I'm gonna have to go inside an...
Paris, Île-de-France, France dmobleyCost to fly to Paris: 200 dollars. Length of flight: 6 hours. Cost of metro tickets: 16 euros. Hours it took to leave Charles de Gaulle airport: 91,000,000,000,451. Getting to Friends Hostel: Priceless. That was written hours ago, upon arrival to the hostel. The measure for priceless changed dramatically when a bird pooped on jared's head outside of the Louvre. It was amazing. It was also amazing that we got to the Louvre later in the afternoon. No lines at all. There weren't even lines in fr...

Paris, France herreraToday I went to see an architectual masterpiece the Effiel tower. The fee was 6,70 euros. Now I have 1,000 Euros left because of this transportation and food. I learned it is 118 years old. The architect was Stephen Sauvestre. I went there at 6 and left at 8. There are several exhibitions there and all sound great. The tour guide explained how the tower was used as a labratory and radiobroadcaster. There is also a painting of this structure.

Paris, France herreraThe first time I went to Paris, I was in middle school. I look awkward, awed, but slightly confused in the pictures. The second time was the summer before senior year of high school. I fondly remember splashing in the fountains down the Champs de Elysees because it was so hot. I also remember being the navigator for the fam and taking many wrong turns. But in Paris, wrong turns are hidden gems. So that brings us to the present. 20 years old... reluctantly knocking at the door of adulthood... ...

... hot water. We desperately wanted showers before our second consecutive overnight flight, and a hot day in Paris. Despite his suggestion that we share (could you imagine such a suggestion in the US?), we took turns and enjoyed a nice shower at CDG.] I will conclude this entry here and will leave Andy with the privilege of providing all the details of our CDG-BKK flight (ah, look at that...I can write in airport code too), as well as the first few days in Bangkok. Since you ...
