February break had finally arrived an I wasn't going to waste a second of it. This break I was travelling with a friend I had met at university. Naomi is from Kansas, USA and is also studying here in Amiens for the full school year. We were both super excited to be spending our full break exploring different cities of Ireland - our first stop, …

At the risk of sounding exactly like my mom, I have to say that I forgot how cramped economy class actually is. My upgraded status with United has spoiled me terribly (though certain unkind persons have commented that I was spoiled before my status was upgraded) and I am used to having all that extra room for my insanely long legs. A Great Hostel at a Great Price

This was my first experience in a hostel, and it turned out to be a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, giving me a map and showing me where I should go. The power went out in the afternoon due to some construction outside, but the staff had a great sense of humor about it and put flashlights in the stairwells. The only negative thing was the breakfast - which was very basic - but what I was expecting for the price. I would stay at this hostel again.
