Venice arrival and lunch

Venice 10/25/2011 -arrival and lunch
Italians are different. We go to lunch the first day in Venice in a loud crowded cafe. There is a family next to us 2 young kids maybe 2 and 3 years old. One starts to cry very loudly. The waiter looks at the kid and mock cries at the top of his lungs, the kid cries louder, he yells louder, the kid …

Carnivale in Venice

Apparently I was a very bad person in some previous life. After a string of seemingly endless back luck (remember the Giubiasco Fiasco, missing Egypt, several visits to the ER, a wrecked knee, a stolen bike, and various other contretemps that have not been documented – none of it my fault, of course ;) … ) I figured that I'd had my fair …

Let's count the bridges!

... s very easy to get to Rialto bridge from San Marco square and vice versa, there are many arrows with indications and takes only 5 mins. Stop by the bridge for a nice view of the grand canal. That's reminds me our camera blacked out after taking the picture of the grand canal. There are also a few sites along the way from Rialto bridge to the train station like the casino and theatres if you are interested. The big supermarket and 2 smaller ones are along this road.
