      ... better. I took hundreds of photos and at the point when the sun was almost gone it turned into the most beautiful pink ball of fire. Unlike at home, you could look directly at the sun and see its form without squinting. Finally the last slither of the sun disappeared and everyone who was there watching broke out into applause and wolf whistles. It was really funny thinking we were all applauding the sun for doing the same thing it has done for billions ...

      ... to their edge of island, where Kyle was brave enough to venture out for me to take some pictures. Back to me driving again as we headed back towards the red beach.
