TripAdvisor Reviews Hotel Fivos Athens
Travel Blogs from Athens
We got to Athens at 5 am. We slept for four hours then started our day. Our group went on a walking your of Athens including the oldest neighborhood in Greece. A smaller group of us got lost from the group and had to find our way back alone. We got to the square where we were meeting and it was an amazing spot for shopping and food. We went to the …
... a passing heavy rain shower, to the edge of the Plaka area and a lovely inexpensive meal of taramasalata, tzatziki, moussaka, rice-stuffed peppers, Greek salad and retsina (yuk!) in a touristy-type restaurant but there were Greeks eating there too. We had the obligatory tour of the kitchen before deciding what to have and the management were very friendly.
The Acropolis was lit for a short time but not long enough for us to admire it.
