    ... declare customs. Bought tickets for the Gatwick express no problems.

    Had to lift the cases onto the train. I would have though with a new train and modern wheeled luggage the platform would be designed level with the train.     ... large planes arriving at the same time as immigration was a long, long line. The bonus was our bags were already off the carousel and waiting. Since we had nothing to declare at customs, we breezed right through. Found the bus to transfer us to Gatwick and settled in. Very slow going and took about two hours.
