An unexpected day trip

... say about today really apart from watching useche attempt rock climbing (which he was very decent at) & checking out the waves along the coast to doing some rock climbing of our own (much smaller though) haha, the photos will tell you the story.

By this stage of the trip Uruguay had exceeded all my expectations and we were blown away by the generosity of the locals and our new friends.

... when we woke up the following day but at least the rain had stopped. We decided to be optimistic and headed out on the 6km walk around the peninsula here. ... couldn’t park there, but I got across to him the Kaaren was coming with our stuff, and we were only loading up there. The final few legs of our journey up the continent in Brazil are, a 16 hour bus journey to
Florianopolis and the beautiful island of Santa Catarina (fabulous beaches, not so fabulous weather) add then to Curitiba and on to Sao Paolo where we will meet Miranda and James on the 15th for a rather different family Christmas holiday!
