Brilliant place to stay if you don't want club music from the early 2000's inserting directly into your earholes at all hours. Which I don't. Because I'm old and boring. It's only about a ten minute walk from the beach, if that, if you want to hit the bars. Lovely, relaxed, chilled place and the lady who owns it is really friendly.

We were flying to Goa on Air India but departing from the International airport. Checking in in India is very slow and you really need to check in extra early. It starts outside the airport with armed security guards checking passports and boarding passes outside before you can enter the building. Then you have to put your luggage through a …

... As luck would have it when I returned to my beach chair a lady came by asking if I wanted a massage. Absolutly! So for the next 75 minutes I lay in bliss on the beach with this little lady needing out all my knots. By the time she was done I smelled and shone like a freshly baked coconut cream pie in a store display window. Ahhh heaven!! I spent the rest of the day walking the beach, playing cricket with the local beach boys and enjoying my last meal and cold beer on one of ...

Today we decided to set off and explore life down at the beach. Thankfully there was a fair breeze blowing, a real life saver as it's red hot! There are a fair number of hippies still hanging around at Anjuna beach and no shortage of offers for things ...

... ask for 10 rupees if you don't want the colour - apologies for the sarcasm, but it felt like another scam for tourists.  Most were ok, and asked permission first, using a finger to place the colour on you. So far so good, that is, until our way back. Hands were all over us and powder was thrown in our eyes and mouths. I felt a bit violated when one guy fondled my breast. ...

... tan. We had massages and fresh fruit on the beach one day and kayaking and cocktails the next.  The previous day Jenna and Chris mentioned about a gorgeous waterfall in the jungle about 30 minute drive away, as Steff was feeling up for it we rented 2 bikes and the 4 of us headed towards the jungle in convoy in search of the waterfall. After what actually was an hours drive and an hour and a half trekking through dense jungle getting very lost we found the waterfall and ...
