Tomorrow is the 90th anniversary since Howard Carter found King Tut’s tomb in the Valley of the Kings. A little celebrating is in order tonight. May even order some fabulous Egyptian wine with dinner. It can’t be any worse than Swiss red wine, right?

How to bargain with a liar!
... good condition but there is no other option to get there unless you want walk. The temple is dedicated to the god Horus and was built circa 200BC. It also had a Nilometer and is well preserved due to being buried in sand for yonks. Once again Chris got hassled by a tout wanting him to buy from his 'number one shop', apparently he was very persistant and wanted to give his business card!

While heading back to the van, we were led through a long corridor, a "gift shop," if you will, lined and filled with tourist souvenirs. This was a typical feature of basically all the ancient attractions we'd been to so far. As usual, we marched straight through and didn't stop long enough to buy anything, although I did snap a couple pictures.
