Basic facilities, but the staff are really nice. Standard fare of ham & cheese, bread & cereal for breakfast but no toaster... Shops jest outside the hostel and they give you free access to a microwave.

Brugge is a walking and cycling city, with many narrow cobbled streets, made more impressive by the canals. We wandered into the main market square via lots of chocolate shops (there are 500 in the city!). We saw a canal cruise on offer, which has …

Difference is that Belgium beers are strong - plus 11%, so the evening got quite entertaining, ending in a local pub close to our B&B. I'm sure the locals were very disappointed when they caught a sight of us (the tourists) standing oddly in the entrance, while we're wondering if it's acceptable to fight the dogs for a seat. ... them away from Brugge. So the economy in Brugge stood still for years - and the city currently looks very close to how it did in the Middle Ages. It is stuck in time.... We didn't have near enougb time here...Belgium is famous for its beer - there are over 400 different beers they brew and hundreds of different glasses they use to drink them out of. There are famous ...
