This place has an awesome location for the price they offer. Right at the end of La Ramblas and is walking distance to everything. The common room is awesome, the view from your bedroom is sweet, and the staff has an answer to every question.

      Pretty Good

Pretty convenient location, no wifi in the rooms kinda sucks, water is hot but it's a pump shower... but pretty clean, so that's great. Although reception didn't have maps or know much about tours.

Equity Point hostel has been by far the best hostel we have stayed in. It is very, very clean. It has a great bar, great staff, great hanging out areas and the rooms are actually big. The wifi is pretty crappy and the elevators are slow, but those are not necessities. We will always pick this hostel chain (when we can) when we travel!

Avignon may be one of the most beatifully funky places i've seen. It has the history and character like Paris but walking into the walled city is like walking in to the "cool kids quarters". The city has the quaintness of narrow cobbled lanes and classic symmetrical french architecture with shutters and planter boxes.  But add to that the next …

So after a 3 hour bullet train ride from Madrid (at 300km/h!), I encountered the same problem as in Madrid: the metro system (which was actually much closer to Toronto's and getting instantly disoriented coming street level without a good map or compass). But this time it was a little less confusing because the streets were all in a grid patterns …

      Goodbye my old friend
The first casualty on my trip was a big one! I stopped to look at my map putting my camera down on a bus bench. In my rush to get to the next stop I forgot it and when I realized my error and returned it was gone. I asked around at a few tourist sites that I was near but no one had turned it in. One of the men at …

      Museu Picasso
All I knew of Picasso before coming to his museum was that his paintings looked like he was on acid, he chopped his ear off for a chick, and he got high on absinth on occasion. The last one might have contributed to him cutting his ear off. It turns out that the painting that look like he painted them on acid were only towards the …
