A really friendly hostel. with huge rooms and lots of common areas the place is great. A fantastic breakfast and good cooking facilities help with cheaper days. Activities can be booked with the hostel and events at the hostel help make this a sociable place. Its certainly not a loud party hostel but wouldn;t want to be. We had a great stay.

Eco hostel was a good stay, it was in a good position centrally located with Plaza Italia not far away and a supermarket near by. Free internet and a good kitchen with clean bathrooms and toilets, the price was very good so i chose to stay here. It was safe and quiet with a BBQ night. It's environmentally friendly and the staff spoke english always more than happy to guide you through the ropes.

Santiago
We left Argentina early and headed into Chile on one of the most amazing scenic bus rides. We crossed the snow covered Andes and sitting at the front of the bus wasn´t quite so fun when we went down the very curvy road. I went on a brief tour of the city and had a fabulous empanada and then went and saw Sex and the City 2. I desperately wanted to …
Adios Americas
Santiago, also known as Santiago de Chile, is the capital and largest city of Chile, and the center of its largest conurbation (Greater Santiago). It is located in the country's central valley, at an elevation of 520 m (1,706.04 ft) above mean sea level. Although Santiago is the capital, legislative bodies meet in the coastal town of Valparaíso, …
Chile out
The plane arrived in Santiago at 2:30am and we did not fancy trawling around hostels for a bed at that time so we walked the very convenient 20 metres from arrivals to the Holiday Inn and settled into our very comfortable room for the night. We negotiated a late check out and managed to make use of all of the facilities (pool, jacuzzi, etc) before …
Last day in South America
We left the hostel and headed off to find a small beach that the hostel owner had told us about. We sat in the sun with an ice cream and enjoyed the view of the sea. There was also a flock of Pelicans that were waiting for the local fishermen's leftovers.
After another seafood lunch we headed back to the bus station for a coach back to …
Santiago- Visit with Julie & Jess
We arrived in Santiago about 4 days before one of my best friends from University, Julie, was flying down to visit. Her and her boyfriend, Jesse, were going to be with us for 10 days and I was sooo excited! So those first few days Devin and I just hung-out and did a little work, purposefully saving the city for when our friends arrived.
