      ... after a really speedy lift ride (and popping ears) gives you 360 views over all of Berlin. After a lengthy look round, we discovered that above the viewing area was a revolving restaurant, which we had to check out. After we’d both used the toilets at 200m up, we managed to get a table in the restaurant for a beer and some cake. It really was amazing, taking about half an hour to get all the way round.       ... of nails and plenty of open space for a clear shot at potential escapees. The area became known as 'death alley' amongst other things as many were killed trying to cross the arduous territory. There were lucky ones too. Ones who made it to West Berlin....
