Good prices, bathrooms not ensuite but no problems queuing. Missed the free Monday night veggie meal but sounded great

Seeing as it was our last full day in Berlin I was keen to get out and see a couple of the things our free walking tour hadn't covered. Steven on the other hand was absolutely wrecked from all the late night card playing he'd been participating in and decided he was going to stay in. In any case, after a late coffee run at …

After coffee at Antipodes we decided that it was about time we actually did something. A fairly long stretch of time to be wandering about, but the pace was languid with plenty of …

Lauren spent today organising the next leg of our journey and trying to get her bank card to work. It had been blocked thanks to attempting to purchase a flight from Air Serbia. I can't say I blame the bank.

I have to mention breakfast. Lauren, in her eternal quest for better coffee, selected a café called …

Today we had a truly authentic French experience: we snuck onto the Metro without paying. During the weeks in Paris we had seen numerous locals jumping over turnstiles or sneaking into exits often flagrantly ignoring the bored security staff. So when we arrived at the local Metro and couldn't find anywhere to buy tickets we …
