... of the architecture is incredible, despite most of the city being destroyed during the war. Numerous Neo-Classical buildings have been rebuilt and construction is still continuing. This took away from the atmosphere somewhat but it will look even better when it's finished. I've learnt so much in these past few days. ... was fascinating. We saw the process from beginning to end. Mold making, some 10-15 molds per figurine, figurine making and firing in kilns, artists who didn't mind us looking over their shoulders while they painted the faces, and clothes of the little children, all the way to the final firing to make the finished product. Glad we went. Great tour! And we saw where the things in our own home were made. Very cool.

... which was awesome! We landed in Berlin grabbed our luggage and were on a bus to our hotel! We thankfully got to our hotel with ease and didn't ask anyone for directions! The hotel was modern and amazing! The breakfast restaurant had these amazing squares in the rooms you could eat in! (I'll have to show a photo!) ... There is rubbish everywhere and I've never seen so much broken glass on the streets as I did in Berlin. This lack of cleanliness also brings about a stench that is unpleasant when you're walking around trying to take in what the city is. I've been told they are making improvements to it so I hope that next time I return it will be much cleaner. Even though it isn't clean I still loved the city and the feel its got so once again I will be back, but next time I'm there, it'll be for a minimum of a ...
