... of the architecture is incredible, despite most of the city being destroyed during the war. Numerous Neo-Classical buildings have been rebuilt and construction is still continuing. This took away from the atmosphere somewhat but it will look even better when it's finished. I've learnt so much in these past few days. Mold making, some 10-15 molds per figurine, figurine making and firing in kilns, artists who didn't mind us looking over their shoulders while they painted the faces, and clothes of the little children, all the way to the final firing to make the finished product. The rooms were a good size, beautiful bathroom, big shower, a great sized fridge and kitchen and ...

We revisited the site of the SS headquarters and i was very disturbed by all I read about the things Hitler did to take over. I learned all about The Holocaust in school but had no idea just how diabolical this person was to get to that particular horror. It scared me to know that evil can exist. A pleasant experience was visiting a memorial the German people built to honour all of the various groups of ...

... There is rubbish everywhere and I've never seen so much broken glass on the streets as I did in Berlin. This lack of cleanliness also brings about a stench that is unpleasant when you're walking around trying to take in what the city is. I've been told they are making improvements to it so I hope that next time I return it will be much cleaner. Even though it isn't clean I still loved the city and the feel its got so once again I will be back, but next time I'm there, it'll be for a minimum of a ...
