... we all conversed. It was awesome. I love these crazy festivals!
So now, while all the festivities have stopped, I will take my time to rest and get better. I will relax on the couch with a book and let myself re-cooperate. I will take a bit of time off to let my body revive itself.... or, perhaps, just maybe, I will go into Viña and wander through the center for a bit. Just a little while. I can't very well let such a beautiful day go to waste over silly congestion, now can I?
... the part with one way of getting home, walking. I walked for about four hours. I got home at seven in the morning. I don't even have any words for this one. Sure, the sunrise was amazing, the beach was gorgeous, and I will probably never get another view like that one.... however, I don't think I am ever going to do that one again.
So, I end another day inspired by what I see around me. I leave behind moments that will never leave my memory. I fall a little bit more in love every day.
... so many laughs, and of course they enjoyed making fun of my laugh and my squinty eyes! haha!
My presentation went well on Thursday afternoon during my second class. I was very excited to get home today because Margarita was going to take Maria, Maite, and I shopping in Vina. First, we went to Feria Artesania to pick up some last minute souvenirs for my family and friends! Maria and Maite had to exchange some of their money, and then we ...
... t turn out the way I expected, I am still proud of the finished products because they are mine (and not everyone can say that they've made something from a scrap of leather before)!!!
As mentioned before, I spent the rest of that night on school work. :( Unfortuneately, I'm not sure my studying made a difference on my grammer test today. It was a bit difficult, but hopefully my score won't be so bad. I stayed at school over lunch today to work ...
... went next door, which was also full of drunken sailors, old men and hundreds of hats hung above the bar. Probably the most dodgy place we have been and we have been to some real scary places. The chorillana was great though. After a beer we couldn`t think of anything else to do after dark in a dangerous port so walked towards the centre and went to see Wolverine which had just come out at the cinema . Next day we decided to do some more cultural things. We ...
Trop bonne ...
Valparaiso, Chile benguigue... some drinks and a snack - Mauricio suggested we split a chorillana, kind of the signature dish of Valpo. It's a large plate of French fries, covered in chunks of beef, onions, chorizo, hot dogs, and smothered in melted cheese. A heart attack waiting to happen, it was disgusting in its overindulgent use of ingredients ... yet strangely yummy! Brent and I took off - Brent to continue partying, since he had booked no accommodations here and was going to ...

Valparaiso, Chile nsp003... Valparaíso remained a small village, with only few houses and a church. After Chile's independence from Spain, Valparaíso became the main harbour for the Chilean navy and opened to international trade. It received immigrants from many European countries (England, Germany and Italy). The opening of the Panama Canal (in 1914) and reduction in ship traffic dealt a staggering blow to Valparaíso. Built upon dozens of steep hillsides ...
Valparaíso, Chile ninaholidays... br>We walked to the main train station, but buying a ticket proved to be a lot more difficult than it should have been, with the woman in the booth confusing the hell out of us when it would have been much easier to just sell us a couple of tickets! She was probably trying to be helpful but our Spanish isn't good enough for ...
