A few miles out of town we stopped at a bus station and collected some more passengers, (not strange you may think) that wasn´t the problem. We made it!
Hola! Well we made it. We are currently in Guayaquil Ecuador at the dreamkapture hostel. Everything went smoothly with only a 2hr delay in Miami (which is good given our travelling history). We will spend the night here and head to the airport first thing to head to the galapagos. One beer down, many more to go. Salud!

“clean & safe place”

nothing special, but all the basic stuff for a good hostel. clean & safe. nice breakfast included. good option either just for transit (10 min taxi ride both to bus terminal and airport) or to explore the - unexpected - nice city. brandnew waterfront (malecon) and picturesque old town area (barrio las penas) in 20 min taxi ride. big & fancy city mall also very close (5 min walk).

“Good for a stopover”

close to airport and bus station, only $4 each way. Breakfast included is ok, eggs, toast coffe and juice. Not much of an atmosphere, not a hostel where people stay long, usually on their was to the islands. Staff friendly, beds comfy and rooms have fans and are ensuite. Close to shopping centre if you wanna cook dinner

The Hostel is nicely located within walking distanz to mayor business and is on a quiet street which is important in Quyaquil where traffic is horrendeous

The hostal is clean and safe with nice friendly staff. It has communal areas with cable tv, free internet and free breakfast. Its only 2km from the airport and bus terminal. However, it is 6km from the city centre. There are local buses running into the city from the end of the street but it can be quite a journey.
