... up, I went down and walked along the beach that we walked along.

I sat there for a long while just remembering the time that we had here. Did bring some emotions up and tears to my eyes. Was good...she was with me. I think I'll go back down there in the morning and spend some contemplative time. Good for the soul!

I had dinner at the restaurant here. It was good and relaxing and I had a nice view of the lake. Off to bed now.

... of the awesome accommodations in our new abode before heading down for dinner. The meals (all included as part of the conference) were simply amazing! The food was delicious and fresh, and there was always a wide variety of choices!

After dinner, we visited the resort's hot tub and relaxed a little before heading to bed. We knew the next day was going to be busy!!

... traveled were not exactly packed with fellow cyclists. The tourism season was well behind them, and they had some spectacular breakdowns. The sidewall of their front tire blew out in the middle of nowhere and they didn't have a spare or a bike shop anywhere nearby. So they hitch-hiked into the nearest town and tried to patch the tire with duct-tape and superglue. That repair lasted about 6 km.
