    ... along the shore. It was beautiful........ Clang jj's Dutch diving buddy descends onto jj, jj is angry and beauty becomes irrelevant... Ooh a crab. Talking of crabs I just ordered pella (I assume the menu meant paella) rice and I was given a crab with some sauce and some rice. See attached.     ... time. People here are a mixture of friendly and hostile, but when they're friendly you don't know if they're trying to trick you... The scenery though is amazing. To get to the dive site today we rode in the back of a truck round the outskirts of dahab, mountains stretching off in every direction as far as the eye could see. Another dive this afternoon then back to the room to sleep, having got none last night at all. The room mate snores ...

    By three pm the place was packed with families, lots of children. Seemed everyone in Aasala and areas around where here for the market.

    ... closed (you can't blame them, it's very quiet here at the moment and I don't think there had been tourists there for quite some time).

    That scuppered our plans slightly and as Ras Abu Gallum is quite exposed, it was a bit too windy to sit down and chill out, plus we still had to keep the dogs on the lead.
