      We didn't spend much time here, only a night either side of our trip to the Parque Tyrona. Breakfast was pretty good, the pool looked nice and there is a cool bar upstairs. Rooms were small but clean and well kept with some shelves and we had a private ensuite. The staff were nice and I believe the owner went partying with some of the guests until the morning! giddy up

      We had three nights and two full days in this supposedly sleepy fishermen's seaside town. It turns out there are over 30 hostels in this small little town and the water nearby is perfect for learning to get your PADI (and obviously to actually dive in).       The treck itself can be done in as little as 3 days, but we did it in 5. The first day starts out in the afternoon with a three or four hour treck. The first farm place you stay in hammocks. One of our guides was the daughter of the owner. Meals are basic- typical Colombian cenas/ almuerzos or occasionally a bowl of pasta.
