There is also a resident family of friendly giraffes that loves to break the fence and come into our campground because they haven't yet chewed off all the leaves within ...

Nearly froze on the walk back to the hotel, it was only 13 degrees outside! Made a quick pit stop for some water and candy, a guy there thought we were American because we called it candy not "sweets". Made it back to the hotel and quickly went to bed excited for our adventure.

The eggs stay there until they hatch and the monitor has nothing more to do with them after laying and burying them. Had to pay the exorbitant park entry fee but we continued to see some amazing things including: rhino tracks, another type of hornbill ...

Winding down the window I ask the guide of a large open top safari 4x4 what it was and he lets me know there were two Cheaters off in the distance but they've just gone. We sit there and wait a bit and Lou points out that everyone in the 4x4 is staring at us. I look around and realise she's right and not only are they staring but they all look pretty grumpy. Oh dear, we realise that I am probably the one to blame for the ...
