Hallo meine Liebsten!
Meine Güte, inzwischen bin ich in Houston.... ein bisschen spät mit dem Miami-Blog, aber es war etwas wenig Zeit vorhanden in den letzten Tagen, um den bereits geschriebenen Blog hochzuladen. Hier ist er nun:

... night for the fabulous light show, but as it turned out Metallica was having a concert adjacent to the park, and we would have been stuck in traffic for hours. We found out when we got there Friday morning that the water is not turned on until later in the afternoon. Oh well. We made lemonade, took the cab ride from hell back to Miraflores, shopped at the Inca market, then went for lunch at El Pez Amigo for the last day.

... the bloody bus stop! A 'Taken' moment occurs as a man offers to take us to the where the bus will get us - no thank you! but please point us in the right direction. We swiftly realise that he is telling the truth as he points out the direction and explains that he used to work for the airline! He walks us to the right place and directs us onto the bus - he does not follow us - CRISIS AVERTED!
We still have to suss out the change for the bus ...
... to Miami South Beach in no time. The only delay was for the Miami Marlins ball game. We were staying at the Carlton hotel on Collins Ave, which is the next street up from Ocean Drive and a short walk to the beach.

The father was next to me with his youngest draped across his lap - who kept kicking me in his sleep, while the mother kept hanging over the back of the chair to stroke her husband’s cheek.
