... the rail trail) Being the adventurous kiwis that we are we did a detour ( again reminiscent of our Nasby detour on the rail trail) ....2 km to Marsbach Castle....2 km straight up an extremely steep windy high and heavily forested hill that was covered in the misty cloud of the morning! It was a huge feat to make it up there but we did!!! We took photos of course to prove it ...we rode down the hill very quickly to be back on the trail ..until the cider house ...

We had a huge day travelling yesterday but it all went very smoothly. We left our accommodation at 7am to be at the airport 8am...check in went smoothly. Unfortunately Katie had a nasty tummy bug and was very unwell...didn't feel good seeing her off on her plane to Portugal ( she had an horrific trip but by evening all had settled down thank goodness.).
