Danhostel Copenhagen City

Clavier danois... je peux faire ca "ååå" Alors, depuis Paris hier soir, le train de nuit c'est très bien passé. J'ai pu aller dans un compartiement de 4 couchettes au lieu de 6 (ce que j'ai payé). Found a nice little cafe along the canal that we had huge chicken sandwiches at - (chicken being the only thing on the menu when we enquired about food!) and I enjoyed a Carlsberg since we were going to miss the free Carslberg Brewery Tour as it closed at 4 and was shut Monday. Well it looks like I made it to Copenhagen. The motorcycle ride and ferry were great. I took the shortest route and I stayed off the main highway. The riding here is much better then in Germany. Definitely less stressful. I decided to try the first hostel on my list even though the internet said they had no beds available. As I walk in there's a sign on the door saying the same things. Back home now. Yesterday wasn't very interesting: just travel. Walk: Copenhagen Youth Hostel (nice but soulless with strange automatic lights and scary swipe-card lifts) to Copenhagen Central Station in the morning rush hour. Plenty of cyclists (as indeed there were on Thursday), with proper cycling sections to the roads. Train: Copenhagen Central Station to Copenhagen Airport. About 10 minutes. Very easy. Bit of a wait in the airport as my flight was midday and check-out from YHA was 9am but...

Ok, so got up in the morning in Malmo and was still tired feeling and it was sunday...as well as i had a private room. so i took my sweet time in getting up and watched some more MTV...hahaha. then i got up got breakfast, came back to my room and chilled out for a bit longer as i didn't have to check out until 12p!!!! i took full advantage. so then i began my day, which was fine because the rest of malmo wasn't really active until after 12:30p ish anyway. so while i was lounging i had circled...

The food just did not stop coming from out of the kitchen. We were in the eating hall just off the gym floor in Vaerlose, a community about 20 miles north of Copenhagen. It is a busy day. I am at the train station by 8:00. I buy the 72 hour Copenhagen Pass which covers transportation and most museums. I later find out that many of the best museums are free (some always others for a day) but I still make great use of it. I take a 20 minute train into Copenhagen where I leave my backpack in a locker.
