Today we visited the UNESCO town of Telc. Pronounced Telch like belch. Un untouched 16th. century town.

Had a limited castle tour as they are filming the movie "Emperor". Barbara auditioned for a solo and got the part!! Only problem, we can't be here for the rest of the filming.

... for books in German, Latin, Spanish, Italian, and French. A case held books dating back to the 1600's. The Chapter Huose was a beautiful room with fabulous acoustics, now used for concerts and weddings. The cloisters were especially lovely, with renaissance decoration. And then there was the church. Finally a chance to sleep in after a ton of early mornings or travel from trying to cram everything we could in, we got up and lazily wandered around Ceske Budejovice before grabbing some lunch and heading to the world renown brewery Budweiser Budvar and then driving to Plzen shortly after that.

... signs to surf on - sounded like a great idea at the time! They boys went into the water and we egged them on from a distance, having a good laugh, we even hid their clothes, then out of nowhere 2 cop cars come racing down the street and pull up with their lights blazing!! ... water comes out in a tiny trickle. Not only that, but you are reminded everywhere you turn to keep your shower to a maximum of 5 minutes. Which is nearly impossible when you are trying to rinse your hair under what would be considered a minor faucet leak in the United States.
