... After the tour we walked down by the river to watch some of the rafts and boats come through the rapids and then took a look at some of the galleries in town.

We returned to the restaurant at the Eggenberg Brewery for an early dinner. We mixed sausage wrapped in bacon with horseradish and mustard, and grilled Camembert and cranberries with the Argentina-Belgium World Cup quarter final and another litre of the Eggenberg dark beer.

It was a good night.

The presumed owner was hilariously eager for us to buy and enjoy everything she made, immediately wanting to know if she could make us a ham and cheese croissant before we'd even sat down. Finally a chance to sleep in after a ton of early mornings or travel from trying to cram everything we could in, we got up and lazily wandered around Ceske Budejovice before grabbing some lunch and heading to the world renown brewery Budweiser Budvar and then driving to Plzen shortly after that.

What a weekend! The last four days have been the most amazing and hectic days of my life in Prague. Our group went on a trip to Cesky Krumlov which is about 5 hours south of Prague.

Thursday morning we got on the bus at 9 and headed out. We stopped about a hour outside of Prague at a jail that was used in the 50's for political prisoners. What an experience that was. When we stepped off the bus, I had chills running down my spine. It was absolutely horrible being there. ...
