The wall in the hall and rooms are painted by a local artist. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good WIFI connection also in our room.

Back on track in La Paz
We arrived safely in La Paz after what was, for me, one of the most horrendous journeys ever! I spent most of the 10 hours throwing up in the not so luxurious toilet. However once we had checked into our hostel and caught up on some sleep, I felt a hundred times better and we set out to explore.

A few reasons really, not having been on a bike (except wine tasting in Mendoza) for years, serious lack of balance, altitude, scratched sunglasses to blur my vision and an absolute hatred of exercise did not bode well for a 64 km bike ride with up to 600m sheer drops on …
Cant go out today cos I havnt got a stitch to wear

As we got the washing ready (which for me at least was every item of clothing bar a tiny pair of shorts and my coat) we started to plan out just how much or little …

We were very excited. We had only found out about this 'attraction' when we were given a flyer on our …
