    ... when they came out they wouldn’t let the door shut so the next person could get in for free. That really was tag teaming at its best.


    We went inside the castle and walked right up to the top. The view was amazing. You could see the whole of Schaffhausen with the Rhein running through part of it, all the houses covered in snow and it was just perfect.     ... and find some dinner. Cleared passport control yet again (the Dayrooms are technically Landside, not Airside) and went for a wander. It was really weird to be walking through an airport with no baggage whatsoever - I kept expecting to be stopped by security! I realised that I hadn't picked up my pocket knife after the little party we had last night, so I bought a small Swiss Army Knife to replace it.     ... so plan B was undertaken, a trip in the bus around the lake to an outside swimming pool which included a 3 metre diving board straight into the lake.... That certainly tested the kids nerves.

    After swallowing half the lake after jumping in from a 3 metre platform Alistair threw up all over Dave Smith!!!! LOL's all around from the rest of the gang... "such kind thoughts !"
