... cars (one of which was a convertible!) and drove around the island for the day. Stopped at a couple of towns, beaches and a winery for lunch. We hung out with them at their hostel for the night. The next day we visited the old fortress and hit the beach for the afternoon. We were in need of a bit of a change from the local food so had excellent Asian food here both ...

Arrived 1030 hrs then bus to the town ( 20 mins) Walked the promenade, took a peek into local Museum. Loooong lunch at Plava alga. Hvar is famous for having some of the best red & white wines in Croatia, so we had to sample some, of course. Domir, our ...

... weird vibe that didn't seem to want us had wonderful accommodations that allowed us to truly relax and catch up with things. For now the sun finally just came out after Mike made us an awesome dinner so I really can't complain as I look out over a beautiful valley to a picturesque town and beyond that the churning sea and remember just where we are and what we are doing. ... The drive to the lakes took nearly 4 hours. On the way, Gem and I got chatting to a couple from California who were sitting next to us, Rob and Sue. Rob was almost a 'Walt from Breaking Bad' lookalike. Bus full of doppelgängers. We talked about our travels and explained a bit about Australia to them.
