... and even though he had unclipped, he mistakenly clipped back in and fell over. I can tell you, nothing is more aggravating then falling over in your bike at a dead standstill. He hit his elbow and it was quite sore. But, we hopped on the bikes to Bol.

Now, the trip to Bol was 30k away and about 10k was all downhill. I am NOT a good downhiller and was very worried about the ride, but figured...what the heck. ...

... summer residence of Petar Hektorović, who was a Croatian poet from 1487-1572. After touring Stari Grad, we continued to drive on the main road all the way to the other end of the Hvar Island where there is a town called Sucuraj. The road had many curves with no shoulders and cliffs on each side, it reminded me of the road to Hana on Maui island but much more dangerous. We eventually made it to the end of the road ...

... 90's the area became very isolated. It has since started to boom again.
We had been told by both the tour guide and walking guide that we should go up to the old fort for the view of the harbour. Up early - the ferry leaves EARLY.... Weather looked a bit grim...but we set off down the stairs...and outside for two minutes when the rain came down. But we decided to continue anyway... Figured out we would dry off in the ferry on the way over...(and we did).
