... put his GoPro on the roof so it took a picture every 2 seconds....the results are attached as a time lapse. Once we got to the top, we stopped off for a bit and walked around, however we were over 12,000 feet and their was sleet so it was pretty cold!! I think when we looked it was about 44 F which I believe is around 6/7 C. Brrrrr

... down (after hitting a low daytime temperature of 59 degrees… brr.) The campground is rather remote and is quite lovely. We are surrounded by pines and there is a river rushing within earshot.

I’m pretty well convinced that every track of any animal that I see is just evidence of a little bitty bear… But hopefully I make it another night without getting eaten! I have a fire poking stick which I have deemed the bear poker. It surely will protect ...

... this must be heaven." I definitely felt that feeling for our first 30mi of riding - it was a combo of canyons, sunrise over calm lake, mtns, and amazing company. Starting our mornings off in mtns are so chilly - 40s when we left town and we were doing everything we could to keep phalanges warm. We had a few climbs and amazing descents where once again you're able to take in beauty of Rockies at a quick pace. We stopped and took pictures on ...
