... peninsula, following the path to a shrine on the top.
The walk back up wasn't exactly easy going, especially with all the eating and drinking we'd been doing.
Thoroughly exhausted and wind swept, we clambered to the top, climbed into the Peugeot and went home to pack.

Reluctantly we left the apartment and searched for a caffeine breakfast. Its lucky we did, as today was Palm Sunday. In Corfu Town it is celebrated with a procession of marching bands. In better weather conditions they also take the mummified remains of St. Spiridon around the town. Today it was ...

Day 8

Day 8 started with one of my favourite pass times. Charity shopping. We checked out a little shop attached the back of a pet store. There were a few cool telephones but nothing worth buying. In the pet store, two puppies had been abandoned in a box and left on the doorstep. They were very cute but it seemed unlikely they find a home. Street dogs are a real problem in Corfu, and with neutering being frowned upon by some locals, it doesn't look like ...
