    ... the walls adorned in paintings and the like. We made our way through the rooms, admiring the wall paintings and tapestries. The castle has burnt down twice and subsequently rebuilt. It took 40years to rebuild after the first fire.

    There are photos of Our Mary in lots of spots. She is beautiful and holds herself well in all photos, especially when in her regal attire.

    The dining table is an absolute beautiful wooded ...

    Our only regret: We didn't eat any Danishes.

    ... our CS host's apartment. We were lucky not to have to walk back there alone.

    On Sunday morning we went back to Sid's place to see how he was and grab our things. We went and got some breakfast then saw the last two sights we were hoping to see: Tivoli Gardens and the Rosenborg Slot.     ... nothing, so I took it upon my self to do some research. Turns out, Halloween is not really a celebrated holiday in Denmark, but it is becoming more and more common as an Americanized holiday. When I walked to the metro later on, I passed one little girl dressed up as a witch, but that was it. We went to the mall and saw a table set up in the middle for face-painting as well; I guess that's how the holiday is being introduced.
