You get what you expect in a hostel. We stayed in a double, it had AC, a fridge and a kettle. Expensive but so is everywhere else in Perth.
A bit out of the way and not on a free busline but mellow and clean enough.

Our hostel was really lovely - the Coolibah …

Finally arrived, flew with Singapore airlines, even though we were in cattle class the air hostesses were classy and helpful, a far cry from the the usual Easyjet and Ryanair employees who tended to have "a face fitted around there makeup." Thankfully the flight was uneventful and landed on time. Did have noisy Manchester United fans for the first …

The victory of the Lumpers’ Union was complete, although in the achievement thereof one life was sacrificed on the altar of industrial freedom.” Make of ...

... and attempted escapes. The most successful was the Catalpa Rescue in 1876, where there was an elaborate plan that resulted in six Irish prisoners being rescued by a ship flying the American flag. Their ship was pursued, demanded to surrender, and a warning shot fired from a cannon... and then the Royal Navy was advised that firing on the ship would be considered an act of war against America, and the Catalpa eventually slipped away, without ...
