A lot more social, in order to get to rooms or toilets you go through two open lounges so you tend to see a lot more people,

You get what you expect in a hostel. We stayed in a double, it had AC, a fridge and a kettle. Expensive but so is everywhere else in Perth.
A bit out of the way and not on a free busline but mellow and clean enough.

It was probably about a 30 minute walk to the entrance to the park which ended with a very steep climb - good exercise for us both! The park was superb. There were even more exercise freaks about which meant that Liz and I had to walk in single file in parts whilst they all ...

... was one man who even escaped by accident - he fell off the very high wall when he was making some repairs to it!

It was an interesting visit, but not a place that I would like to stay for a while.

When the grown-up and me walked through the town back to the train station, we spotted a hot donut van! The grown-up likes hot donuts and a special little boy that the grown-up knows likes donuts too!

      Till next time... ...
