Cool Bananas Backpackers Lodge Agnes Water

Definitely, I would recommend 1770 as a stop along the east coast and nearly everyone who visits does. Far more relaxed and less the developed than other stops, 1770 is unique to the east coast and ideal for chilling out and doing as little as possible. We arrived in Agnes Water at about 10.30am and checked into our hostel. This is what I call peaceful. Agnes Water and 1770 is a sleepy pair of beach towns at the south end of the Great Barrier Reef. It's also the farthest north place in Australia where you can surf. It's just before seven o'clock in the morning. The sun's been out for almost two hours already and is warm on my face.
