Video Girl and Battery Boy woke to another sunny day. Video Girl rolled over and suggested some morning delight. This brought a boyish grin to Battery Boy's face, "What did you have in mind?" "Well, I've tried it before but never in Spain and it was the Valencians that perfected what I want." By this time Battery Boy was jumping out of his skin, "Okay, let's do it, what do you want?"

... probably all fresh, with no preservatives or artificial ingredients like America, but there is also no FDA here, so I still have to hope for the best. Since my arrival in Iberian Peninsula, I have noticed that the food here has been very fresh and it tastes different than food back home, which worries me because I will not know how to readjust to preservatives and meat fillers. ... nuns and volunteers run a little restaurant. It was a fun meal with some tasty food in a great atmosphere. The workers were very helpful and friendly, especially one of the Priests.

Paris has been great fun and a nice way to start our trip, but we’re really keen to get to Spain to see our family. This morning is all about packing up, checking out, finally going on the river cruise and then flying down to Valencia this evening.

When we landed in Valencia, my parents and I actually couldn't find our bags. It turns out that because we departed from the US (and therefore, obviously, are not part of the EU) they put our bags through a DIFFERENT conveyer belt.
